SDCC BLOG – The Walking Dead might not be the only zombie property to grace the Hall H stage this year, as The Hollywood Reporter writer Borys Kit is reporting that Pride & Prejudice & Zombies will be taking to those hallowed halls during San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, July 11.

And from the sounds of it, it’s going to be a star-studded affair, with Lily James, Bella Heathcote, Jack Huston, Matt Smith, and director Burr Steers all in tow.

There’s no word yet on which studio is bringing the film – it could potentially be part of a Sony line-up, or it could be part of a smaller presentation from another studio who had a hand in the film.

Although the TV schedule for San Diego Comic-Con has started to pad out nicely, only a few of the Hall H movies are currently known. That’s slowly been changing over the last two days, first with Star Wars, and then with yesterday’s Lionsgate The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 and The Last Witch Hunter announcement – and now, with Pride & Prejudice & Zombies in the mix, the line for Hall H just keeps getting longer.

THE IRIS – Doctor Who fans have been revelling in the fact they’ve had Doctor number 11 himself, Matt Smith, in the country with two previous companions (Alex Kingston and Freema Agyeman), meeting fans, partaking in various Tim Tam slams and generally being a cool dude. The Hub Productions’ WHONIVERSE fan meet and greet tour has been and gone through Sydney, Brisbane and Perth so far, with events in Melbourne and Adelaide still to come this weekend.

The final two events of the tour will be slightly different, as fans will know by now, with Agyeman not attending but instead, original billed guest Karen Gillan will be travelling to both cities to meet fans and engage in a series of Q&A sessions with her co-stars. Today, the organisers of WHONIVERSE have announced that Lily James, star of Disney’s Cinderella and also Downton Abbey, will be attending both fan events and will be signing autographs during the scheduled signing sessions. James, who is currently dating Smith, was first spotted in the country with him as the pair and Kingston attended a special meet and greet at a childrens’ hospital in Perth. It seems logical that the latest live-action Disney princess would be up for meeting some Australian fans in some otherwise unique and intimate settings, so The Hub has jumped on the opportunity!

Fans will be able to purchase autograph tokens for $40 at both events in Melbourne and Adelaide, with prints of Lily being supplied at each event. Absentee packs will also be available for those who cannot attend but still would like an autograph for $50. To purchase, head to www.thehubproductions.com/events/whoniverse.

WHONIVERSE comes to Melbourne on May 16th at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, while the tour wraps in Adelaide at the Adelaide Town Hall on the 17th.
