The snippet is taken from the bonus material on the Downton series five Blu-ray and DVD sets, out today (November 17). In the clip, costume designer Anna Mary Scott Robbins talks dressing Lily James as Lady Rose and the character’s “flirty” new look.
The fifth series of Downton Abbey aired on ITV from September to November and a sixth series has already been commissioned. The hit period drama will next return for a Christmas special. Series 5 of Downton Abbey is available now on Blu-ray and DVD, courtesy of Universal Pictures (UK).

THE GUARDIAN – ITV has commissioned a sixth series of Downton Abbey, which will start filming early next year.
The broadcaster’s director of drama commissioning, Steve November, said on Thursday that the show continues to be “a phenomenon”.
He said the network doesn’t know yet what series writer Julian Fellowes has planned for his much-loved characters.
The Bafta and Emmy award-winning show follows the fates of the aristocratic Crawley clan and their servants amid the social upheavals of the 1910s and 1920s.
The fifth series of Downton Abbey is currently airing on ITV and starts 4 January on PBS in the US. The show is made by co-produced by UK company Carnival Films, a subsidiary of NBCUniversal, and PBS’ Masterpiece drama strand.
